The Story
The Bedford 15-424 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 164622 Teflon o-ring. PTFE construction provides chemical resistance to solvents, lacquers, and aggressive paint chemistries that would degrade standard rubber seals.
Common reasons this teflon o-ring is replaced:
- Fluid leaking at the seal after extended solvent exposure
- Hardening or loss of flexibility from chemical attack
- Visible swelling, cracking, or compression set after extended use
- Scheduled PTFE seal replacement during pump or filter rebuild
