The Story
The Bedford 55-2480 is a 2-pack of outlet filters supplied as a direct-fit replacement for Graco 236498. Outlet filters install at the pump manifold to catch contaminants leaving the pump before they reach the hose and gun, extending tip life and protecting downstream components.
On Graco airless equipment, a clogged outlet or manifold filter restricts flow into the hose and shows up as a pressure drop at the gun even when the pump is keeping up.
Common reasons these filters are replaced:
- Inability to reach full pressure traced back to a restricted outlet filter
- Pressure drop at the gun while the pump keeps stroking normally
- Visibly clogged or torn mesh found during a manifold inspection
- Recommended replacement at every pump service interval
