The Story
The Bedford 55-2517 is a 10-pack of PTFE (Teflon) o-rings supplied as a direct-fit replacement for Kremlin 150040309. PTFE o-rings deliver broad chemical resistance, low compression set under repeated pressure cycles, and a stable seal at fluid passages in high-pressure spray equipment.
Kremlin air-assisted and AAA equipment relies on these seals to keep finishing materials in the fluid passage under repeated trigger cycles and solvent flushes.
Common reasons these o-rings are replaced:
- Fluid leaking at fittings, swivels, or gun manifolds during spraying
- Pressure loss caused by a swollen, extruded, or compressed o-ring
- Visible compression set, flat spots, or surface cracking after solvent exposure
- Scheduled service during gun rebuild or fluid section overhaul
