The Story
The Bedford 55-2471 is a 2-pack of outlet filters supplied as a direct-fit replacement. Outlet filters install at the pump manifold to catch contaminants leaving the pump before they reach the hose and gun, extending tip life and protecting downstream components.
These filters are sized to the standard sprayer fitment for the model series listed in the product title and are stocked as a bulk pack for shop service.
Common reasons these filters are replaced:
- Bulk service: stocking inventory for shop-wide preventive maintenance
- Inability to reach full pressure traced back to a restricted outlet filter
- Pressure drop at the gun while the pump keeps stroking normally
- Visibly clogged or torn mesh found during a manifold inspection
