The Story
The Bedford 29-2601 is a direct-fit replacement for the Binks 7284030 fluid ball valve, a 1/4" NPT inlet x 3/8" NPT outlet shutoff valve rated to 250 PSI. The stepped 1/4" to 3/8" NPT porting lets one valve adapt between two line sizes. It provides simple, reliable on/off control and pressure isolation on low-pressure fluid and material lines.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid leaking past the valve when closed
- Ball or seat wear preventing full shutoff
- Handle or stem stiffness during operation
- Routine replacement during fluid-system service
