The Bedford 29-1441 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 238612 high pressure ball valve, a 3/8" NPT x 3/8" NPT shutoff valve rated to 5000 PSI for airless fluid lines. Installed between the pump outlet and fluid hose, it lets operators isolate sections of the line or relieve pressure safely before service. Both ends carry 3/8" NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads — the self-sealing tapered pipe thread standard used across U.S. spray equipment — and fluoroelastomer seals stand up to solvent and coating exposure.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid weeping past the valve stem or handle when closed
- Ball or seat wear that prevents a complete shutoff
- Swollen or degraded seals after prolonged solvent exposure
- Handle grip or stem damage that makes the valve hard to operate
