The Story
The Bedford 29-1571 is a direct-fit replacement for the Binks 7281712 fluid ball valve, a 3/8" NPS x 3/8" NPT shutoff valve rated to 250 PSI. It combines a 3/8" NPS straight thread, sealed by a gasket, with a tapered 3/8" NPT port for flexible mounting. It provides simple, reliable on/off control and pressure isolation on low-pressure fluid and material lines.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid leaking past the valve when closed
- Ball or seat wear preventing full shutoff
- Handle or stem stiffness during operation
