The Story
The Bedford 29-2630 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 224775 drain valve housing and stem assembly used on Graco GM 5000 and similar sprayers. The housing and stem are the core body of the drain valve — the parts the seals and handle mount to — so replacing the assembly restores a valve too worn to rebuild with seals alone.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid leaking past a worn housing bore or stem
- Valve no longer sealing even after new seals
- Stem galling or corrosion inside the housing
- Full valve replacement during pump service
