The Story
The Bedford 29-3150 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 245143 bleed valve used on Graco Xtreme lowers and ProMix proportioning systems. The bleed valve relieves fluid pressure to prime the pump and to depressurize the system for service, and it sees hard duty on the high-pressure Xtreme protective-coating pumps.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Pressure bleeding off slowly or incompletely
- Fluid leaking past the valve when closed
- Valve binding under high working pressure
- Scheduled service on Xtreme or ProMix equipment
