The Story
The Bedford 29-2835 is a direct-fit replacement for the Titan 800915 bypass valve assembly, built with a solvent-resistant O-ring for use with aggressive coatings and cleanup solvents. The bypass valve diverts fluid back to the supply to prime the pump and relieve pressure, and its O-ring is the part most often attacked by harsh solvents.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Fluid bypass leaking past a swollen or hardened O-ring
- Pump slow to prime or losing prime
- Valve binding after solvent exposure
- Routine service when switching to more aggressive coatings
