The Bedford 9-809 is a direct-fit replacement for the Wagner 9941501 carbide ball, an 11mm check ball for Wagner and Titan pump fluid sections. The tungsten-carbide ball seats against the valve to control one-way fluid flow, and its hardness resists the wear and abrasion of pumping coatings.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Loss of prime or pressure from a worn check ball
- Fluid bypass past a pitted or out-of-round ball
- Ball no longer seating cleanly against the seat
- Routine replacement during pump rebuild
