The Story
The Bedford 14-2162 is a direct-fit replacement for the Titan 540060 gun filter. A 60-mesh screen has 60 openings per linear inch, providing standard filtration well suited for latex paints and primers. This filter installs in the spray gun handle to catch particles that pass through upstream filtration, protecting the spray tip and improving finish quality.
Common reasons this filter is replaced:
- Frequent tip clogs caused by debris passing through a worn filter
- Reduced spray pattern quality from particles bypassing the filter mesh
- Deformed or torn filter element from repeated cleaning cycles
