The Story
The Bedford 14-1329 is a direct-fit replacement for the Wagner 2976 inlet strainer. This strainer provides the first stage of filtration, preventing foreign objects and large debris from entering the pump assembly.
Common reasons this strainer is replaced:
- Reduced material flow due to clogged or blocked screen mesh
- Pump cavitation or priming difficulty from restricted suction
- Visible damage, corrosion, or deformation of the strainer screen
