The Story
The Bedford 55-2723 is a 2-pack of gun filters supplied as a direct-fit replacement for ASM 44352. Gun filters install in the airless spray gun handle to catch contaminants before the material reaches the tip, protecting the tip from premature wear and clogging.
On ASM airless equipment, a clogged or damaged gun/tip filter typically shows up as pressure spikes, an irregular spray pattern, or a partial tip blockage during the job.
Common reasons these filters are replaced:
- Irregular spray pattern, tails, or fingering during a clean job
- Visibly torn or collapsed mesh observed during filter inspection
- Routine filter changeover at the start of a new job or color change
- Bulk service: stocking inventory for shop-wide preventive maintenance
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance. Compatible ASM equipment models are listed in the Compatible Equipment section below, where available.
