The Story
The Bedford 14-1731 is a direct-fit replacement for the Binks 832705 filter element. A 30-mesh screen has 30 openings per linear inch, providing coarse filtration well suited for heavy-bodied latex paints, block fillers, and elastomeric coatings. This element is a replacement screen for Binks fluid filter housings, providing filtration to protect downstream spray components.
Common reasons this element is replaced:
- Restricted flow through the filter housing due to accumulated debris
- Visible contamination in sprayed finish despite upstream filtration
- Damaged or deformed screen element from cleaning or extended use
- Routine element replacement during scheduled filter housing maintenance
