The Story
The Bedford 14-186 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 167026 manifold filter. A 100-mesh screen has 100 openings per linear inch, providing fine filtration designed for thinner materials such as stains, enamels, and clear coats. This filter is installed downstream of the pump manifold to remove particles before they reach the spray gun and tip.
Common reasons this filter is replaced:
- Restricted flow through the manifold causing pressure drop at the gun
- Visible contamination or particle buildup in the filter element
- Damaged or deformed screen from aggressive cleaning or wear
- Routine filter replacement during scheduled sprayer maintenance
