The Story
The Bedford 14-4037 is a direct-fit replacement for the Graco 205264 tip filter. A 100-mesh screen has 100 openings per linear inch, providing fine filtration designed for thinner materials such as stains, enamels, and clear coats. This filter threads into the tip guard to provide final-stage filtration at the spray tip.
Common reasons this filter is replaced:
- Persistent tip clogging despite cleaning the spray tip
- Degraded spray fan pattern from particles passing through a worn screen
- Torn or deformed filter screen allowing debris to reach the tip orifice
- Scheduled filter replacement to maintain spray quality on fine-finish work
