The Story
The Bedford 55-2484 is a 2-pack of filter elements supplied as a direct-fit replacement for Graco 224456. These mesh elements are the consumable insert that lives inside the gun or manifold filter housing and is replaced on a regular service interval.
Filter elements are wear parts on Graco guns and manifolds — they collect contaminants until they restrict flow and need to be swapped out as part of routine service.
Common reasons these filters are replaced:
- Pressure drop traced back to a restricted element
- Material crossover after a paint or product change without flushing
- Element clogged with cured material or pigment after extended use
- Visibly torn or compressed mesh on inspection of the filter housing
