The Story
The Bedford 14-905 is a direct-fit replacement for the Titan 103624 inlet screen. A 50-mesh screen has 50 openings per linear inch, providing medium filtration suitable for latex primers, standard paints, and most architectural coatings. This strainer provides the first stage of filtration, preventing foreign objects and large debris from entering the pump assembly.
Common reasons this strainer is replaced:
- Reduced material flow due to clogged or blocked screen mesh
- Pump cavitation or priming difficulty from restricted suction
- Visible damage, corrosion, or deformation of the strainer screen
